7 Little Known Facts about Lil' Ol' Me

Davene tagged me for this some time ago, and my mental note must've been filed away because I forgot all about it until yesterday. Sorry Davene!
I, for no particular reason, decided to see if I could make mine all fair related. My family probably already knows most of these, so don't get all hoity toity kids, when nothing new to you is mentioned.

1.) I have been to the fair everyday, the whole week of the fair since I was 11.

2.) One of my favorite fair foods, is a Gyro. But they have to be from Lynn's, the others are nowhere near as good.

3.) I won Reserve Grand Champion Market Turkey when I was 17. I think it sold for $250. Maybe more.

4.) I went to State Fair competition my last year as a 4-H'er with my sewing project. I made a revolutionary war era outfit. I didn't place, but I had allot of fun.

5.)I am terrified of the Ferris Wheel. (that whole height thing)

6.) Except for photography and embroidery(and that was because I had put it in the wrong category) I have placed at some point in every category I have entered projects in.

7.)I have slept in the loft of the pig barn at the fair, and it was one of the best nights of sleep I ever got while staying at the fair. (Until I was married, I got a camp site and put up a tent and stayed there the whole week)

And there you have it. Actually I could've kept going, but that would just get dull, so I'll restrain myself.
