Itsy, bitsy wild roses. There are pale pink ones too, if you feel like blazing a trail to get to them. I did not.
Day Lily
Clematis. I almost ripped this out this year, as last year, it looked terrible, and had maybe 2 blooms. I am so glad I didn't, because it is HUGE, and laden with blooms this year. I have several floating in bowls around the house.
20 hot pepper plants. B adores hot peppers, and I do them up in oil with spices, or can them in bread and butter pickle brine.
Really, there are things growing here! We have had massive amounts of rain, so the garden could use a good tilling right now.
Sweet herbs: Lemon Balm; Peppermint (yes, I know it can take over); and a bit of lavender.
Savory Herbs: Chives; Thyme; Basil; Oregano; and Cilantro.
Swamp Iris- I wish I could pick a bouquet, but the shrivel up almost instantly when I try.
Duckweed trails. I scared countless frogs back into the water.
A decidedly cheeky little rabbit. I got to within 8 feet of him before he took off. We seem to be overrun with rabbits this year, as I often see 6 out at a time, between the front and back yards.
