Hands was the challenge this week. I put it off until this morning, and then Beans wouldn't cooperate, so you get the oh-shoot-hurry-up-and-hold-still version. Because his little fat hands are always after something.

So here is a favorite, Biscuit, Beans and Yertle. This boy would hold his baby brother all day if he could. Please ignore the ripped up diaper box the kids have been playing with.

Took this one yesterday while enjoy the 50+ degree weather. Not the most wonderful picture ever, but I liked it.

Photo Friday has been back for a while, but this is the first I've been able to join in.

This time around, Rebecca gives a challenge to herself, and anyone who feels like joining her for it, otherwise, we just post our favorite picture of the week.

A Photo Shoot of Sorts

I've been waiting for a sunny day, to take the littles out back for a photoshoot. It dawned on me the other day that I can do that. Yes, I am terribly thick brained.

So, today seemed to be the day, until we stepped off the porch and it clouded over. Oh.Well.




The sun did peak back out, and here are lots of pics of our Bean Baby:

Photo Friday: Still Life

I think, had I had the creative urge this week, I could have come up with something great, I really like arranging and setting up photos. But I have NO energy, or thinking skills this week.

(Plus, our water softener went out, we ended up replacing it, and that meant I spent every spare minute straightening in the basement before the guy came)

Thank-goodness for archives, I was able to pull a few together, though I probably missed the whole "Still Life" meaning. Hey, when you have 3 Littles under 5 1/2, life is never still.

Now, I need to get cracking on bread for dinner, and laundry. 4 days not being able to wash clothes for fear of them turning orange has me waaayyy backed up.

Photo Friday: Signs

I was so excited to do signs, and yet I have very little to show for it! Living in the boonies, there are lots of farms, and farmettes and consequently, signs to tell you about hay, corn, vegetables, fruit, garden tilling, eggs, etc. And then they had to go and close the bridge on the road I usually take to town, and I have to go a different route-still with signs- but they are kinda hard to take pictures of at 55 miles an hour. I also thought about taking signs *of* things (signs of life, signs of rain, etc. etc.), but I either didn't have my camera, a free hand, or wasn't all that inspired by what I saw.

This weeks offerings, as follows:
Two different signs, both to the same place, and also, where my in-laws get their (and our) eggs.

Oddly enough, I think only twice have I ever seen children near here

I had to play with the effects to get the shadow, and now I see she looks orange(!).

Daddy and the 2 that know how to make the I-Love-You sign, do it at least a half dozen times on the way to church, via the rear view mirror.

And the boy so wanted to have his picture taken too.

Photo Friday: Red

Red today, one of my FAVORITE colors- oh I do love red!

A beautiful red tulip my MIL brought over...

Pizza sauce for tonight's dinner...

I have lots of red in my kitchen too, the spatula above, and the butter bell below for example...

And here (please ignore the back ground, (it was the only place my shadow wasn't showing), and the horrifically scratched up glass), I played around with red food coloring. Boy, you have to be fast before it disperses beyond photo taking.
Ahem, we'll call this one "behind the scenes", since my fingers and the shadow of the food coloring bottle are in it. I realized *after* this one loaded that I cropped the wrong picture.

More red to be seen here, and next week, we are doing signs, which sounds like lots of fun, hope I find some good ones!

Photo Friday: Yellow

Oh, and one more thing......
Today was yellow, and despite my MILs brainstorms (and boy were they good), this is all I was able to get done. Not very creative, but at 5Am when I thought of it, it seemed like a great idea. How come out of a tub FULL of sidewalk chalk, all I had was 2 little stubs of yellow? I was using one finger to smear in the last bit...

Also, my apologies for not making to everyones blogs to comment last Friday, this past week and a half has been crazy, and I just didn't get a chance. This week should hopefully be a bit smoother. I HOPE.
