Fathers Day Dinner Menu

We're having our parents over for dinner tonight for Fathers Day.  B. came up with the menu, except for the lemonade and jello- he HATES jello. Think of those nasty aspics with meat and veggies in lemon jello, and you'll know why. Apparently that was an item served during the holidays at his grandparents. Anyway:
Bacon Mushroom Cheese Topped Chicken
French Bread
Salad
Asparagus (per the kids actually. They BEG for asp. whenever we see it.)
Fizzy Lime Jello Salad (going green here, aren't we? ;0P )
Razzleberry Lemonade
Rhubarb Dessert

Better get cooking!

Menu

The coming weeks menu, which I don't feel like typing because I had cholesterol city for breakfast, and now, at nearly 10 at night I am paying dearly with a stomach ache.
Thursday- Hot dogs, veggies and dip, chips ( grocery shopping day is always a long, tiresome day, and Biscuit is teething molars and glued to my hip. I wanted something easy.)
Friday- Zuppa Tuscana, bread sticks, and salad. ( Zuppa Tuscana is FANTASTIC Italian soup. If anyone has been to the restaurant The Olive Garden and had it, you know what I mean.)
Saturday- Chicken strips- that's all the further I've thought just now.
Sunday- Leftover soup.
Monday- Venison Taco Pie, the rice recipe Mrs. Hurzler left, and salad.
Tuesday- Stir fry, Crab Rangoon( slobber, slobber), and applesauce.
Wednesday- Leftover stir fry.

This Weeks Menu

Somehow I got out of the habit of posting the coming weeks menu, so now I'll try to get back into it. Ahem:
Thursday: Chicken Marsala*, rice of some kind, and green beans, (we haven't had those for a bit). And maybe some fruit.
Friday: Sunday Pork Roast*, scalloped potatoes, salad.
Saturday: Beef (venison)Bourguignonne over noodles, broccoli, and apple sauce.
Sunday: Leftovers
Monday: Turkey Taco Bake*, Mexican rice, salad.
Tuesday: Chicken Pot Pie, salad, fruit.
Wednesday: Smothered steak* over rice, carrots, and maybe some rolls.
Hmm. I'm having trouble with side items. This whole menu looks boring, I feel like I serve the same sides over and over and over. Time to dig out the cook books again.

Menu for the coming week

Today is marketing day. That is why I am sitting here at 6:45 Am eating Edy's Loaded Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream for breakfast(hey don't knock it, I'm getting my breakfast and caffeine at the same time),out of the carton no less. So really, I'm just making room for the groceries.
That said, I'm planning on posting my menu every Thursday for the coming week. I'm not having a real creative week here (well to me anyway, alot of what I'm making sounds similar), and the meals may not be made in the order listed. Sometimes I have to move things around according to whats going on that day.
If I remember, I'll post how we liked new recipes too.

Friday: Sausage Gravy and Biscuits, home canned Fruit, Beans
Saturday: Chicken Stir Fry*, Crab Rangoon, Peaches
Sunday: Saturdays leftovers
Monday: Meat Loaf Gyros*, Baked French Fries, Salad or Veggies and Dip
Tuesday: French Canadian Meat Pie (from the freezer), Green vegetable
Wednesday: Steak, Corn and Tomato Skillet (with venison), Rice, Salad
