Monday Morning

Good Morning!
I am back from a busier than I thought it would be week.
The yard sale is over (hooray!), and I'm $95 richer. Now, what to spend it on...
We didn't sell everything, and we were busy on what we thought would be a slow day, and slow on what we thought would be a busy day. The leftovers got carted off to the thrift store.
Yesterday, we turned heathen and skipped church. The kids and I had been gone all day everyday from Wednesday-Saturday, and church was being held outside, which is fun, but not easy with a 4 month old. No definite shade, and nowhere to nurse. Instead Mr. B. pulled weeds and tilled up the parts of the garden that needed re-planting, which was most of it. I did laundry, cleaned the downstairs bathroom, living room and family room, planted beans and more zinnias, ironed, made BBQ sauce for tonight's dinner and ran to the grocery store.
Last night, the original Father of the Bride, with Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor was on, so we watched while I ironed. Such a great movie, you should watch it.
This evening, both sets of parents are coming for a belated Fathers Day. I'm making BBQ'd ribs, broccoli salad, potatoes, and Butter Dips for dinner, Rhubarb Dessert for dessert, Strawberry Lemonade and sweet tea.
That means I need to get off my duff and get moving, as today is supposed to be a scorcher(90+).
I'll make another attempt at posting pictures tomorrow, I have them, but the blog won't except them, grrr.
Till then!

Just reading your menu is making me really hungry! Sounds delicious!

Isn't is so nice to get rid of the extra junk that always seems to be lurking about, and make a little profit to boot!
