I made this Saturday night for Sunday's breakfast with fruit salad YUMMY!
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft shortening ( I don't use shortening, so I used unsalted butter instead- worked just fine)
1 egg
Mix together thoroughly.
1/2 cup milk
Mix.
2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix the carefully stir in
2 c. well drained blueberries.
Spread in greased 9'' baking pan and top with Crumb Topping*
Bake at 375 45-50 minutes. Yield 9 3'' squares.
* Crumb Topping:
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. soft butter
Mix till crumbly, and sprinkle over batter.
