Yes, I know scrambled eggs are one of the easiest things to make, but I'm sharing my way(s):
Break 6 eggs into a medium bowl. Add a good splash of milk, cream, half and half, whatever suits you; a sprinkling of salt, and a few cranks of pepper, a small pinch of nutmeg(really), and a larger pinch(but no more than 1/8 tsp.)
of ground mustard,
Now comes the fun add-ns part: You can mix in whatever strikes your fancy
Tuesday I made these with chives and some Monterrey Jack cheese, grated on the smallest holes.
They are also good with bacon, onions, and Swiss Cheese;ham, leftover cubed
potatoes, chives and Cheddar cheese; just plain with cheese; ham peppers and cheese; or plain. Whisk together and fry over medium heat in a buttered fry pan.
Stir occasionally unless you like flat scrambled eggs.
I like to pair them with sausage or bacon, potato cakes, and fruit.
Potato Cakes
Into 1/4 c. milk grate 2 c. potatoes . Drain milk and add 1 egg well beaten, and 2 Tbsp. flour. Season with salt and pepper. Add 1 Tbsp. minced onion.
Drop by spoonfuls into well greased pan. Brown on both sides.
These are best eaten right from the pan as letting them sit causes them to get a bit mushy. I usually get 6.

Noticed your larder is starting to collect some delicious items. Well done!
I finally got around to making your braised pork chops recipe tonight (after sitting on it for over a year). oh.my.goodness. So good!! We will definitely be having that again! We're not big pork chop fans, so every time I go through my recipes I tell myself that we should at least try it. Very glad I finally did. Thanks! :)
