Mr. B.'s niece turned 8 yesterday, and after looking unsuccessfully for a gift for her at the store, I was seized with inspiration yesterday morning at approximately 6:30 am. I came across the pink fringe in my sewing stuff and went from there. I LOVE how the purse turned out (and that it only took about 20 minutes to make) and the necklace and bracelet went together quickly, which was good as we had to be at my in-laws at 9 for the birthday party breakfast. I also put in a small tube of peony
hand cream, a
hair bow, and a sheet of stickers. I used the purse as the gift bag, and stuck a giant Zinnia in a water tube for decoration.
She loved it.

Very cute idea, but making a purse at 6 something in the morning... proof again that you don't sleep! HA HA!
