It rained for several days right before the fair. Check-in day(Monday), it poured. I had Honey and all my entries piled into the wagon, with Honey holding a huge umbrella over it all. I had Biscuit in the front carrier and a smaller umbrella. I was told that I was crazy, and dedicated. Yeah, I know. The above picture is actually from Wednesday. One of the women in the arts and crafts barn told me I HAD to get a picture of Honey and myself in our dresses and boots and enter it next year in the fair theme category. Here are 2 of the pictures that dad took, outside the poultry barn.
I don't usually wear faux Wellies, in fact I had to go buy them Tuesday am, and I most certainly would not make a habit out of wearing them in public with a dress, but the below pictures I think justify my actions.
Just outside my parents camper, with walkways of planks swiped from my brothers barn.
This is how the parking lot still looked Saturday morning.More pics tomorrow!

You guys looks so cute in your dresses and matching boots.
YUCK, what a mess! You definitely had no choice on the wellies.
Ewww, icky mud. I LOLed at the pics of you girls in your dresses and boots. Very cute. ;-)
Welcome back! It's good to see your smiling faces! And I'm glad you were smart enough--and humble enough--to just go ahead and wear the boots. With mother and daughter both in dresses and boots, all I can think is "cute!" :)
