Actually, its JULIA, but Honey can't get it quite right. We took dinner over to Julia's parents last week( her daddy was the best man in our wedding, and Mr. B. was the best man in their's), and since I missed the baby shower, I took the gift along with dinner. From left to right on the basket: a big flannel blanket- these are the best for nursing, covering, laying on the floor, you name it. It's my standard baby gift because they are so easy to make; a bottle of *the best* smelling lavender baby soap; a flannel bib that I enbroidered with a J; A flannel burp cloth; and a bonnett.
Close-up of the J. This turned out so cute, I didn't want to give it up, even though neither of my children have a J in their names.
I think an initialed bib is now part of my standard gift.

Hey Bonnie! I love the rest of your fair pics, and the baby gift. Tell Ed and Amber congratulations.
I love you and miss you. it's so nice to check your website and see what's happening. Have a good week! Give the babes hugs, and say Hi to Braden. Love you always, Anna
You are so talented...both this gift and your fair items!
That J is just so precious! Ok, now I know I'm never posting a picture of my first hand embroidery project. Thanks alot Mrs. Bonnie ;p
The bib is lovely!
At first I thought the baby had a unique name -- there are so many unusual ones about -- a friend of mine has a Lexa Reve and Jahl Zayd (girl and boy)!
Hey Banana- will do.
Thanks Davene, I like doing this type of stuff, always have.
New Mom- I want to see your embroidery anyway- my first project was awful( if I can find it, I'll even show you...)
