On the Mend

Everyone is doing better, thank you for your thoughtful comments!
Biscuit is still a bit of a grouch, but he is teething molars, so one can hardly blame him.
I have been on the computer a few times this past week, and tried commenting on your various blogs, but the non secure information pop up just keeps popping up and won't let me type. Has anyone else had that problem? I was able to bring my own comments up with no trouble.
I had the best compliment at church yesterday ( well, I took it as a compliment). I took Biscuit in the back when he got fussy, and started getting my food part of the baby shower set up. I was wearing a nursing blouse I just finished ( I'll post pictures this week after its been washed- I LOVE it!), a black knee length skirt (which I made a few weeks ago. Actually, I made the jacket I wore too, but took it off after arriving at church.), new black heels (actual adult heels, not my usual Maryjane flats!), had my hair pulled back and my white eyelet half apron the bright orange seam binding I got from the thrift store. I was told I looked like Donna Reed. I floated for the rest of the day. I love the shows from that time, and the clothes- sigh. I want to see pictures of the shower and your outfit for it NewMom!
I must be off now, we have a trip to the Doctors for Biscuit this morning, and a trip for mom to the Big Joanne Fabrics. Wasn't I clever to pick a pediatrician right across the street from my favorite store? ( Actually I chose him because I used to know his daughter, and I knew he was a Christian.)

Glad to read that your family is feeling better!

I haven't had any trouble with posting comments...but I don't know enough about computers to give you any helpful tips. Hope your problem resolves itself!

Looking forward to seeing pics of your sewing! :)

I'm glad the kiddos are feeling better. No idea about the error message you were getting, sorry.

M had a very encouraging interview last Thursday with a huge law firm downtown (for IT, not legal!) and it sounds like they want him. We should know this week. I'll call you!

Hi Mrs. Bonnie,
It's nice to have you back. That outfit sounds darling. Too bad you didn't take a picture! Glad your babies are doing better. I hope your husband realizes how blessed he is to have a wife that know how to make her own clothes, cooks and cans!
