Whew! What a week! I finished all my baking and house cleaning by Wednesday- and the best part? My house is still wonderfully uncluttered- just a basket of laundry to put away, and another basket of misplaced items to return to their proper homes.
My final count on baking was 91 dozen (plus a dozen or so more) cookies, 9 loaves of chocolate zucchini bread, 2 loaves of Challah bread, and 4 loaves of English muffin bread. The last 2 breads were given as gifts.
I way over-baked, but as we had no idea of how many people to expect at this meeting, I had to make a guesstimate. Lets just say lots of people went home weighed down with plates of cookies, and I won't be baking any more for quite sometime!
Spring is trying to make its mark. You can smell it in the air, and feel it when you step outside. Its cold, but a different cold than winter. My daffodils are poking their sleepy green shoots up too.

I stand in awe...of you and your baking ability. Have I told you that before? :)
I always over-cater, too -- but how lovely to send people home with cookies. I'm sure they were all thrilled.
