Spring Chickens

I have been trying to get these up since Saturday! Anyway, Friday I was feeling pretty nauseated, so I blew off house work, and made these cute little chickens instead.
I stuffed them mostly with polyfill, but then I sewed up a little bag filled with split-peas(instead of beans) to weight them down, and stuck that in the bottom before stitching them shut.

I even had a little round basket I tied scraps of fabric to , so they could have a little nest.
Honey loves them, and will pass them around to us saying "I'm handing out chickens, which one would you like?"

Those are super cute! Love em.

Wish when I feel nauseated I could do some stitching. I just lay in bed eating salitines and staring at the ceiling fan. ick.

Thanks for all the great advice you shared with me. Lots of practical stuff! I also heard ginger works wonders~so I am heading to the store to get gingersnaps. Funny you mentioned chocolate pudding~ last night everyone was eating and NOTHING appealed to me and I opened the cupboard and saw a box of chocolate pudding and thought---hey. Now THAT sounds good!

So~what is your actual due date? As far as I can tell (still haven't gone to the doctor yet...) is December 4th.

Rebecca- Try ginger capsules too. At least I've heard they work.
My due date is December 2. I had to laugh when I figured it out, and the mid wife confirmed it: The other 2 kids were both due on February 2. I can't get away from that number...

Thanks Ladies!

Ha! Get this-Andrew is April 2 and Corynn is Sept. 2. So who knows...maybe I'll be a day or two early! Either way, I told Matt I REALLY like even numbers! ;-)
