Good Morning! I realized that I haven't posted in nearly 2 weeks, and since I'm stuck waiting for chicken to cook for soup canning today, I grabbed the camera and snapped a few pictures. This didn't look so blurry on the camera screen.

Proof that I am a "country bumpkin". Yes, I do hang my canning kettle and rack to dry on the back steps. And it's not Bumpkin. I really prefer the term Farm Girl. See Maryjane's Farm magazine, website, books for a better definition.

The Little Monkeys yesterday. I pulled the slip cover off the couch to wash it, and they thought it was lots of fun to sit on the ugly striped seat.
An action shot for Biscuit (trying to escape his sister's loving, and I made his little overalls-aren't they adorable?),and a fake smile for Honey.
Oh, and we may have a name for Lil' Bit, but no hints 'til its decided for sure.
My sister comes home for 3 months tomorrow, and the fair is less than 2 weeks away!
The chicken is about done, and Honey needs dressed for the day, so I must tend to things, have a lovely Wednesday!

I love misty mornings like that!
Those overalls are adorable. Back when I was young and naive, I imagined myself making all sorts of little overalls like that for my boys. I'm certainly glad that you get to live out my dream! :)
Davene- Don't give up! This pattern was SO EASY, the whole thing went together-including interuptions- in a little over an hour. I hope to make him a few more pairs before the summer is out, but we'll see.
Your babies are delicious -- and I love the overalls. Great for summer and winter -- but dreadful for toilet training! You are busy -- what are you entering in the fair this year?
Canning again! Two little ones and a bun in the oven, and still you are so productive!
