I'm going just a wee bit crazy. Mama and Baby are sick. Honey and Biscuit are somewhere in between. B is fine. We have over a foot of snow, with another 3-6" possible tonight. And our high right now is (drumroll please)- 2 below zero.
At least the sun is out. Tonight with the windchill, its supposed to feel like 20 below.
I like winter, I really do, IF you can go outside and sled. I like the coziness, and flannel sheets. I like hot chocolate, hot coffee, and hot tea. I love having soups and stews for dinner, but after a bit, it gets old. OK, I'm done whining now.
I did go out yesterday, Muffin had her 2 month checkup, so naturally,I had to go to Joanne Fabrics. A little dissapointing- oops, I'm done whining. I didn't find everything I needed. There, the truth and no whining.
I also stopped at the thrift store on the way home. I found Biscuit a new coat (oh I hope it fits),and a pair of Old Navy Jeans ($1!!!!!!!). Best of all, I got myself a new purse. Not exactly what I would have chose, but, mine is starting to come apart at the seams, this new one is in great shape, and really, $2 for a Liz Claiborne purse? How could I not?
I passed up a nice LL Beane lambswool sweater for $4, but I wasn't sure the style was me, and soft as it was, I know I would have forgotten and put it in the drier. When in doubt, don't. So I didn't.
Lots of sewing projects on the horizen. My friend Erin and her husband had their first baby last night, her shower was the one I was supposed to help with when Muffin was born. I decided to wait until they had the baby to finish her gift, so I could make it gender appropriate. Cute and girly it is!
I should go, I need to make a menu, grocery list, bread, and I need to start on the projects I'm typing about, they get done faster that way.

Good girl for being so stoic -- but you are allowed a bit of whining, you know. Otherwise you truly will go mad! It must be really difficult with three little ones inside for so long. Do you have a basement with toys and swings in it?

I've been meaning to get to JoAnn's since I got a giftcard for Christmas. I wanted to make good use of the pattern sale but...don't know if I have it in me to have three kids running around while I peruse the pattern books! :-)
Hey Bonnie, sorry you are not well. Wish I could have gone traipsing through the thrift store with you! While you are freezing cold, we are boiling here. But yesterday and today it has been a pleasent 92. Last week was like 115 every day!! ANd HIGH humidity. So enjoy staying warm in the house and I will try to be happy that we have the heat and not the below zero freezing. Love ya! I miss you. Anna
