Growing Pains

Rather indignantly one morning, Honey informed me she should be doing dishes.
"I don't know why you won't let me wash dishes. I'm old enough now."
Her words exactly, and completely out of the blue.

Oh. Yes. I suppose she is old enough. Hey wait a minute, when did that happen? You're just a baby.
And so she has been, almost every morning, washing the breakfast dishes, doing a fantastic job, and drying off the counter when she's done. She takes this new responsibility VERY seriously.

And thanks me for letting her wash them when she's done.
Its kind of hard to remember that she can be doing more jobs for me, I've been so used to doing nearly everything myself. She's growing up MUCH to fast, and that friends, is causing me growing pains.
And on a side note why-oh-why do my pictures look clear until I post them, then I see how fuzzy they are. Phooey.

Hi..I found your blog from Davene's blog. Your little ones are adorable. It isn't the pictures fault..when you post a photo on the web they often don't look as clear. A little sharpening for web in a program like photoshop (or GIMP which you can download for free) should fix the problem.
