We (that's my sister Anna in there) went to hear the Duggar Family at a church not far from here last Monday. It was so good! I am so blessed by the ministry they have by allowing themselves to be a "reality" TV family. Michelle and Jim Bob are just like you see them on TV, very kind and gracious. It was worth spending 45 minutes in line to meet them, and have them signe our book. I felt a little like an autograph hound, and even joked to Joshua Duggar that I was being one, but then I realized that they are really just signing a book they are part of.Jim Bob, Michelle, Grandam Duggar, Josh and Anna, and John David all signed our book if anyone was wondering.
A drive by of "Our Tree" down in the "local" Amish area. On December 20, 2003, B. pulled over to the side of the road in front of this tree and proposed. But that's a story for another day.
Would you believe the last time I tried blogging, the crab apple was blooming? I gave up waiting for this picture to load, and so I post it now because I like it.

The garden was put in and is coming along fine, if it doesn't rain, I'll take some pictures to post tomorrow. Because I know that they WILL show up. This is gonna be great!

Second: I got your WONDERFUL letter on Saturday and I laughed outloud when you asked if I had heard about the Duggars. Because, of course, I HAVE. EVERYONE has, right?
That picture you posted and the chance to meet them was super cool. I don't know what the deal was, if it was some sort of conference or something but it sounds FABULOUS.

My cousin is the one who told me about it. They don't really do speaking engagements, but we were more or less on the way from TN to Wash. DC. So they obliged the people requesting them to come. I'll fill you in more in another letter.
I loved this post!
First of all, what a juicy little (big) baby you have. She's adorable. :)
Second, very, very cool about meeting the Duggars. Shamefully, I admit that I used to think them out of their minds (or something), but now I have A LOT of respect for them.
Third, I want to hear the proposal story!!!
Fourth, that's a great picture of the kids in the crabapple tree!
