Photo Friday: Snow

This weeks challenge was snow, and I had some pictures I had taken over the week, but nothing I was real thrilled with. So, this morning, I donned coat and boots, and went for a quick ramble.
Something about the milkweed pods against the snow caught my eye, but try as I might, I couldn't get a shot that I was happy with. This is the best of the 6.

We made Borax snowflakes as a school project this week,  Biscuit's is above, Honey's below.

Swamp Iris
Cattails and either the Dogs or deer prints. Everything is starting to melt, so I am not sure anymore.

Heading out to the pond hill yesterday to sled. Mama on the left, Daddy on the right, both pulling children in sleds.
I liked the contrast of snow/ice on the wet wood.
I should've played around cropping this one. Oh well.
Next weeks Challenge is reaching. What on EARTH will I do?
More snow fun here.

I love the last two. The snow on the wood is a comforting feeling somehow.

The lost one is just fine, i think, the way it is! I can't describe it but it is a very beautiful picture.

I like the woodpile shot--I think cropping would actually LESSEN the feel. I took a woodpile shot too, it just didn't make the cut.

Borax snowflakes huh? You know how you see something and say "I wanna do that!" and then get busy doing something else and then forget entirely about it? That is me-with borax snowflakes. Maybe I will NOT forget after this reminder?!? :-)

Your borax snowflakes are so pretty.I have never heard of those before but plan on trying to make them after seeing your pictures.
The contrast with the dark pine branches gives them "POP".
