The children's birthday cakes. I thought my Hello Kitty turned out pretty well.

Biscuit LOVES the movie CARS. (for the handful of times he's seen it or parts of it) And wanted a "White-
ning Da Queen cake" so this is what I came up with.

(I rotated this picture....) My MIL found Lightning McQueen cup cake liners and Lightning and 'Mater candies, and since Honey also wanted Strawberry Shortcake cakes, I found these gummy strawberries at the grocery store.

The day of the family party, it started snowing. Just a little. The next day, B. was up early for work, went out to the truck, and came right back in, saying he was staying home. The snow was over his knees.

Later the sun came out, and B. plowed out the driveway.

And we tried to go outside.

It didn't work out so great. Lots of frightened tears later, we managed to forge our way back to the house. The deep snow, and not being able to get good footing, even in our paths really upset the kids. And it was kind of
unnerving.

I thought these snow clumps were kinda interesting.
That's our neighbors barn. Not ours :0(

And last nights brain storming session. I can't remember the last time I had a bubble bath. It was bliss.

Ooooo...cute cakes and the stack of books...one of my most favorite sights in the world! :)
Hope you are feeling a little better, Bonnie!
The Hello Kitty cake is adorable. You did a great job on all of the cakes/cupcakes.
The snow looks so beautiful. **sigh** Yes, those of us that have no snow want it, and those of us that have too much snow, don't want it. lol!
Look at all that glorious snow! Believe it or not, we're under a winter storm warning! So far just a LOT of cold rain. But I can wish, right? :) mmmm... I'm REALLY liking that last picture of the tub, books and cup 'o delightfulness!
