I've had writers block lately, coming up with NOTHING to post. Not that we haven't been busy, but its been boring who-wants-to-read-that? sorts of things.
So while this is still rather boring, here are a few tid-bits:
Muffin took a nose dive off one of the kitchen chairs last week. We didn't know until later that she had banged up her poor little nose too. Its now that bruise yellow color, and improvement over the black and blue to be sure. It doesn't seem to bother her, even when being gently patted and smooched by Biscuit, who usually hates seeing his "poor little darling" injured in anyway. Then, she started getting silly:

And Biscuit had to get his picture too, with his new camera face. Every. Single. Time.
And then, (you wouldn't think I have 9 brothers and sisters, 3 children of my own, and have been helping/completely take(ing) care of babies and children for the last 24 years sometimes)at lunch. Or more accurately, after lunch. Typically, I scarf down my food, and then read to the children during lunchtime. Today, the book was rather long, and so we moved to the couch once they finished eating. Muffin got bored after 2 sentences and wanted down. I let her and she mozied off into the kitchen, where she usually goes. I didn't hear her (shoulda clued me in right there),and she didn't proudly bring me any garbage (She's quite pleased with herself when she does that). Nope. After the story, I went in and there she was. happily finishing off the bit of peanut butter left from Honeys apple slices.

Its rather amazing how far such a small amount can go.

I love this sort of post -- I know nothing crazily exciting has happened, but it's the little things that are the most interesting really! That daff wood is fantastic -- did you take your scissors with?
I love the daffodils in the wooded area. Down the road a piece from us, people have an area of the yard next to the woods planted with daffodils. Over the last several years, I have watched the number daffodils increase and spread farther and farther into the woooded area. I always thought it was pretty special and looked forward to seeing it each spring. But let me tell you, it is nothing like what you have there. That is gorgeous!!
I love the tent; I have extremely fond memories of my childhood and blankets draped over the clothesline and dragging out every last toy I had. That was where I loved to play "Missus" on hot summer days. (Most people know it as playing house.)
Your kiddos sure are cuties and look like they were enjoying their tent (thanks to Mama).
ahaha! I was cracking up when I saw the face Biscuit was making! Probably not so funny when you're trying to take the picture, though!
WOW! I wonder how the daffodils got there? Do you think someone planted them? It sure is cool looking! If they are not on someone's property, wonder if you could "transplant" some? hmmm...
A Daffodil Forest?! oh my. Straight from a storybook-what I wouldn't GIVE to live near THAT place!
And tell me, WHEN did muffin become Honey's mini-me?! I mean, they have always resembled one another but...when I scrolled down to picture #3 of her I actually thought I was looking at Honey. For REAL.
Ps. I read at lunch too. Except, I wait to eat until afterward when everyone is down for a rest, so I can eat in...peace. :-)
Love the daffodils, Bonnie! Oh and I love posts like this...just the everyday hum and stuff...no worries! Your kids are sooo cute! :) I try to read after lunch before quiet time too! :)
Morning and Amy:
I'm glad you like the humdrum. Actually, these are generally my favorites on other peoples blogs. Funny that we never find other peoples boring, "boring"!
Nope I didn't take the scissors and if you read my reply to Rebecca, you'll see why....
Rebecca and Nanci:
Yep, a storybook forest, complete with a possible OGRE.
What I didn't include in the picture is the most darling little run down abandoned-looking cottage and barn (beautiful abandoned house make me want to cry). Seriously, I love it almost as much as the flowers, maybe a smidgen more. Anyway, a year or 2 ago, as I was driving past, I nearly jumped out of my skin when a tall, wiry man, in tattered clothing, long unkept gray hair and bushy beard appeared on the side of the road seemingly out of know where, and was heading straight for the apparently *NOT* abandoned house. And still the only clue that anyone might be living there is that new tarps occasionally appear on the windows.
Maybe I'll work up the nerve to take a picture anyway..
Rebecca:
Until you mentioned, I never saw the resemblance, but my goodness you are right!
Elisha:
just wait 'til you see the picture when he started the whole face making thing, its hilarious!
and the fact that I laugh every time probably doesn't help!
they are so stink'n cute!!!
