I can't believe its June already, and only 100 days 'til Beans is due! He is a wiggly little guy, and I occasionally wonder if I'm having an octopus.... no name yet either.
I got the garden in Friday, so that's good. I start fretting when it seems late.
B. tilled it in April with the new tiller. We moved it back from where it had been, as we are hoping to get a swing-set for the children soon, and will put it where the old garden was.
That tiller cut through the sod like buttah.
The adoring fans got to have Popsicles and stay up late this time. (notice Biscuits flip-flops are on the wrong feet)The rundown: Amish paste tomatoes
Hungarian hot peppers
Sweet red peppers
Green peppers
Green beans (blue lake pole)
Yellow Squash
Green Zucchini
Carrots (kaleidoscope mix)
Lettuce (butter crunch)
Peas (sugar snap)
Cucumbers (pickling type)
Watermelon (sugar baby?)
Pumpkins (Cinderella)
Radishes (french)
And to look at, marigolds, zinnias, cosmos, and nasturtiums.
These last few days, the both have asked about every 15 minutes.
All day Sunday, Honey kept telling us she couldn't wait for "Remorial" Day.
Biscuit couldn't wait for the party and chips.
Except to collect candy, I don't think Biscuit stopped waving, a shy little hip-high wave, but constant.
That bucket was filled to overflowing in no time.
And they did a lot of this.
We had B.'s parents, and his sister, her husband and their 2 girls over for a cook-out. About 10 minutes before they got here, the sky turned black, and the wind and rain kicked up.
I didn't get any pictures, but it was a lot of fun, and we ate till we were stuffed.
Afterward, B. and his dad went shooting, and the monkeys and I went to my parents for another cookout, where Muffin got her first taste of watermelon.Another busy week this week, getting ready for the shower that didn't happen a few weeks ago.
(Its the 12th, same time and place, I'll be e-mailing tomorrow.)
And hopefully some sewing, since bed and naps back to normal.

Your garden sounds lovely, and my husband better not see that tiller/tractor combo, or he'll be green with envy!
I like to look at my children, too!
Looks great, Bonnie! I lost my Amish paste to a frost as I put my tomatoes in kinda early...some of my Beefsteak too...sheesh! You are NOT taking it easy on yourself...haha...nice foot. Really, it's cute! :P
Blessings!
I am trying not to be jealous about that picture perfect garden plot. Ours is so...NOT picturesque.
You are going to have a de-lish summer, sounds like! Sadly, I am worried about our garden. We put the winter manure on the garden a few weeks before we planted-but I guess it is still rather harsh as some plants have crashed and burned and none of my seedlings have even sprouted yet. I am praying that if I replant (there is still time) it might be less "potent" by now and it will all be okay-but I don't know. ack.
