It took them longer to get shoes, socks and jackets on than we actually stayed out
And they were awfully small, sometimes you had to look pretty close
They tasted cold, if you could get your little tongue out far enough
A first for baby, who was simply wrapped up in a few blankets. He liked being out there
Traditional ~First Day Of~ sandwiches. Nasty store bought white bread is the result of being in a pinch the day before. Worked out well though
Shoes were soaked in those few minutes
But everyone tried some
Silly smiled
And even Mama ran out barelegged, short skirted and nearly barefoot, just for the fun of the FIRST DAY OF SNOW!

Glad you enjoyed it! I held Tommy up to the window and he whined at it. That is usually my reaction to snow, too! LOL!
I am laughing out loud at the pictures of the kiddos running around with their tongues hanging out of their mouth!!! hahaha! Oh that is so great! I should do that, and just pretend there is snow... granted Jud may feel my forehead as I come back in the house to see if I'm feverish - haha! I like your tradition of the cut-out sandwiches, great idea! I'm SOO enjoying the cooler weather down here, I'm pretending that it is going to stay...
