Completely Random Bits and Bobs

* These sweet, fat, kissy baby cheeks, are layers of dimples when my littlest smiles

* Because colds, sinus, and ear infections weren't enough, B. and the kids were treated to the 24 hour stomach flu Sunday night and all day Monday. Boy we know how to have a good time.

* I am coveting a pair of red shoes. Like these, or these, but ideally, Maryjanes, like these, or these. I am afraid however, that with my HUGE feet, they would look like clown shoes. Maybe these would be a better choice. Its a good thing for B. I'm so cheap and a hard shoe to fit. Despite the fact that I am barefoot 99.99% of the time, I LOVE cute shoes.

* That being said, I am on the lookout for cheap M.j,'s at the thrift store to try out this type of thing. Better to see how clownish they are.

* I have recieved 3 seed catalogs already, and a stack of gardening books from the library. After last years garden disaster, I'm brushing up my skills. How come the 7 gardens we had prior to this one did fine, but we move it back 15 feet and the whole thing flopped?

* I ordered 2 hatchery catalogs, which I plan to leave in conspicuous places, to hopefully get B.'s attention.

* I have very specific ideas as to what our potential future chicken coop should look like.

* I finally started an Everything Book. Here, here and here are examples of what they are. I'm not much of a journaler, but I'm having fun with it.

* I have always wanted to smoke meat in a hollowed out log like in Little House in the Big Woods.

* I'm going to try my hand at basket making, hopefully this week.

* I am saving all my coffee grounds for the garden. I fully expect to save a ton, then find out I don't need them.

* My little people are in bed and Beans has been fussing in my arms for the last half hour, no matter what I try so, off I go!

I love the way you set up this post! Maybe if I tried something like this, I might actually begin posting regularly again. Oh, and your pics are great. You have the cutest bunch of kiddos.

Oh, I just want to SQUEEZE little Beans! He's SO adorable! And Muffin in the swing CRACKS ME UP!! Hahaha! She looks completely immobile :)
Love your B&W pictures!
I'll keep a look-out for red shoes :) I think I've worn the same pair of brown shoes for months on end now. I get into shoe ruts...
Yucky about being sick, AGAIN! Just think, you guys are gonna have killer immune systems after this winter!

Great post, Bonnie. The red shoes? I say go for it. I love Mary Janes these days, and I don't think you'd look clownish at all. I can only wear Dansko shoes anymore or my feet kill me. Ugh.

Those everything books look very enticing. I may have to start one myself!

So much to say, so little TIME!

First, all is well. I have been hosting lots of parties lately-then I got sick. Then I had so much laundry to do that we nearly drowned and now Matt is out of town for the week so I am doing EVERYTHING which means: no time for anything else.

I have so much I want to blog about and so little time to do it-maybe I ought to just do a few of these posts to get myself caught up. I love reading them too.

Thank you for asking-

Now: onto your blog.

I bet my feet are bigger than yours. have we had this conversation before? I can't imagine anyone having bigger feet than me.

I have been coveting some cute shoes lately too. But for the same reasons as you, I covet but never get any. :-( Target has some cute red ones I've been eyeballing and they usually have good sales.

Frankly, the last pair would probably make B very VERY happy, regardless of price. haha *snort*

Our latest readaloud is Little House in the Big Woods and would you believe, Matt and I were just talking about smoking meat in a hollow log because of it!?!? No joke.

Basket making is something I have always wanted to learn. I almost took a class for it last year but it was $70.00 to go. :-(

Your post was fun and as usual, surprises me at how much we are alike.

oh my goodness. I totally didn't believe you that I stole your title so I came back here to check. Shoot! I totally DID.

I am sorry. I didn't mean to. I didn't even realize it. (honest)
