Holey

"Feel my loose tooth now!" I heard it everyday, multiple times since about Christmas. And so I would oblige, unless I had been cleaning the toilet or touching raw meat when she asked (and yes, that happened). Slowly and steadily it got wigglier and wigglier, until last night, when with a quick tug or two, B. pulled it out. Calls made to grandparents, grins, and many trips to the mirror to check out the empty space. My baby lost her first tooth. 3 more are loose. Didn't she just cut those last week? Sigh. much to fast.
And since these 2 monkeys weren't about to be left out of the picture taking...

What a HUGE thing for a child. She must be uber excited. Now---does the toothfairy come to your house?

@Rebecca, we told Honey when she called us about the tooth to ask Bonnie about the Tooth Fairy.

I think she looks even sweeter with one tooth less!

The first lost tooth of the first child is a HUGE deal! Don't get me wrong: every lost tooth for every child is also a huge deal. :) But really, that first one - it ushers in a whole new stage and really makes us mamas realize...

OUR BABIES ARE GROWING UP! :)

She - and her little sibs - are adorable!
