A Mini-Miracle

So God just performed a mini-miracle (Honey asked if I was pregnant : ) No)
I have been trying to figure out this whole doll-house family thing, do I make one, do I give her my Timbertop Bear family, do I buy a Calico Critters family for her, or what? Audrey's not been much help either when I've tried to ask her. I got on Amazon and saw the Cottontail Rabbit family. So cute. So $32.00 (with the babies), would have to be ordered now, etc., etc.. Audrey was looking over my shoulder and LOVED them. I also found 2 workable patterns for doll-house dolls. I decided to try the dolls, and if they didn't work, buy the Cottontail Family. Went down the basement, couldn't find the right kind of fabric. Nuts. For kicks, I pulled out my box of fuzzy animals to look at the bear family. Sitting on top was the EXACT rabbit family I had been looking at. I have no recollection of buying them. They are brand-spanking new. Like just out of the box new. A bit of digging and I found the 2 rabbit babies I had when I was little. Other than being a bit dirty, they match perfectly. So, whether God put them there (which I don't doubt he could have) or just prompted me to go look (because I forgot about them. Completely forgot), He provided me the answer to my dilemma!!!!! Thank-you Jesus!
Now, back to sewing

Honestly, it is moments like that which really stop me in my tracks and think "God really does care for little things that don't matter a BIT, because I CARE about those little things." Like a Father who plays dolls when he would much rather be doing...ANYTHING ELSE. ;-)

What a wonderful Christmas surprise! YAY!

How wonderful!! I'm so glad you shared this! :)

By the way, I made your Venison Hash for supper this evening. Yummy! We have LOTS of ground venison in our freezer, so I'm sure I'll be making it again before too long. :)
