~Going out to the garden early in the morning and hearing the neighbors cows and rooster ( or as Audrey calls it the mooster)
~ Our county fair being held next week(HOORAY!) I'll be gone all next week BTW
~My garden stuff coming in
~Sewing by the open back door
~Corn on the cob
~Audrey's little curly head
~Brady's fat little legs
~The smell of a freshly mowed lawn ( and/or hayfield)
~ Our county fair being held next week (I've been there all week every year since I was 10)
~The sight of all my filled canning jars
~Sitting out on the porch
~Sunday afternoon pleasure drives, which always start out at Dairy Queen

You're so funny!!! Our county fair is this week, and we're looking forward to going. I LOVE it, and could spend a lot more time there...but at this stage of life, we only go one day, not the whole week. :)
Do you get money if you win prizes for the stuff you enter? When I was little, I entered some things and got a little (very little) money. It was thrilling! :)

I love our little fair, too -- it's held at an oval right by the sea, and is so pretty. No wonder you're excited -- I'm just the same. What are you entering? I always make bread and biscuits, but my cakes are no way good enough to compete with all the perfect ones on display.

Davene- yes, I do win some money, last year I won a total of $25 , but that was from lots of different entries. Unles a category has a special award, the most you can win (only 1st and 2nd actually place) is $2.50.
I just like seeing my stuff on display, and looking at everyone elses projects.
