A Shocking Revelation

Despite my smiling face, I have a confession to make: I am SO not together these last few weeks.
I am scatterbrained, lazy and inconsistant. I start projects, and they get pushed to the side when something more interesting comes up, I haven't changed our sheets in a while, and did I mention the birthday party I'm having for the kids this weekend? So, now that I have laid it all out there, you probably won't be surprised when I tell you I am also not ready for the contest. Mostly my fault, but I have had a hard time working on the prize due to a certain set of small people (one of whom is now potty trained- Hallelujah!), who, when seeing mom pull out the sewing machine, take that as there cue to get the grumpies.
O well, I'm trying, and it will happen eventually, I'm the only one in a hurry. Home life takes precedense over blog life. And just so you know, it's tough admmiting your faults to people like this, which is why I did. It is so easy to think other people have everything all together since the good stuff is what they are posting. Who wants to reveal dirty windows and a floor that needs vaccumed? Not me.
That's it for now, I need to get back to my morning exercise- blog jogging. So far I haven't lost an ounce, but don't my fingers look toned!

You're too funny with your blog jogging!

Yay for Honey!!! :-)

Give me a call when you have a few minutes. I figure it's easier to leave it to you to find the time than for me to interrupt you.

Mrs. Bonnie, not quite sure how yu can call yourself lazy when you have a larder full of food you canned yourself! It definitely takes a lot of self discipline to be consistent. I know I lack in that area. One thing that I have noticed helps me whenever I am being particulary undiscipined {which always then trickles over into my spiritual life} is to go on a fast. I need to take my own advice and begin one. It really seems to help me get my priorities straight and refocus.

PS. I just grabbed the vacuum hose and cleaned Elon's high chair. I thought, "there is no way I can subject my child to sitting in that mess again today!" So you see, as my friend Jen says-- "we all live in crumbs!"

Now I'm caught up on your blog--hooray! :) Tobin's birth and the adjustment to having 3 sons has really rearranged my life/schedule/mind, etc. But slowly, things seem to be getting back to "normal," so I hope to STAY caught up with your blog now.

I like how you said that home life takes precedence over blog life. So true!!! And such a good reminder...thanks!

It's nice to see a picture of your smiling face. :)
