( I made this picture big so you can see it a little better)This was one of those times when I was on a roll and more creative than I have been for a long time. I wanted to make a cute card, but I was stumped until I remebered we have lots of old black and white photos in our antique secretary. I hunted until I found a good baby one ( OK, I'm sorry, but some of those old baby pictures are just plain scary, I mean they were probably very sweet little babies, but the pictures don't do them any favors), color copied it ( on our new printer, scanner, copy machine), then glued it to cardboard for stability. Then all I had to do was embellish.
Isn't it so cute?
On another note, it was warm enough yesterday to go out on the porch for a bit, and to go throw rocks in puddles while waiting for Daddy to come home. We're back to cold and dreary today, but boy, was yesterday a nice break!
Oh, and one more thing; I got the Masterpiece Theater version of Pollyanna out from the library- SO GOOD. A really sweet family film, though nothing like the Disney version. I'm guessing the M.T. one is probably closer to the book, than Disney, but I really don't know.
That is it for now, I've got a full day of laundry folding and bathroom cleaning ahead of me, and times a wastin'!

Cute card! Love your comment about the scary baby pictures! ;)
What a lovely card! YOu are very talented. I love Disney's Pollyanna, I watch it a couple of times every year. I just love everything about it. I will have to check out Masterpiece Theater's version, that might be fun!
Take care, Sharon
It very pretty! You are clever -- isn't it great when craft just works out? I'm try to decorate blown eggs at the moment and they're a mess! I even cooked the colour off one side of all the brown ones!

Love the card and the gifts. That was a really cute idea for a nursery theme also.
