A Shower Gift

Yesterday afternoon I attended a baby shower, and much to my surprise, I was able to create a gift entirely out of things I had on hand, except for some baby lotion and wash.

The Mother-To-Be doesn't know if its a boy or girl, and chose Raggedy Anne and Andy as her nursery theme. These colors seemed to fit that scheme. I was tickled pinker than pink with how it turned out, and I didn't want to part with it! I made the bag, bibs, toy chicken ( I like this the best, a flock of them may soon be taking up residence here), and burp cloths all out of various scraps, and, I even had a apackage of newborn sized diapers which were never opened (since my babies were too big) that I added.
I also made the most darling card, but that picture will have to wait 'til tomorrow.
I must away now, both munchkins are up and demanding their "brefkets" as Honey says.
Good Morning!

This is a marvellous gift! Well done! I'd be absolutely proud, too, if I'd made it. What a lucky friend.
Hope your day was lovely.

Hey Bonnie! Who's having a baby?? Do I know her? ADORABLE GIFT!! And I like the snow pics too. Makes me long for a good snow storm... It has been 100 degrees or hotter every day for the past 4 weeks! I am so ready for a cool refreshing rain to roll in. Love you! Give the babies hugs for me. Anna
