I feel a bit guilty about not having my recipe blog up yet, so here is a recipe to tide you over:
Dripped Beef ( or Venison)
* 3-4 lb. boneless roast
* 1 tsp. salt
* 1 tsp. seasoned salt
*1 tsp. pepper
* 1 Tbsp. dried rosemary
* 1/2- 1 Tbsp. dried oregano
* 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
* 1 cup water.
Place roast in slow cooker. Sprinkle seasonings over roast then pour water over all. Cover and cook on low 8 hours. Shred and serve on sandwich rolls. Delicious!

Ooooh, this sounds yummy, and NOTHING sounds good these days. I will have to try it soon.
Are you guys going to be there on Sunday? Hope to see you then! I will bring Button's pictures. :)
The seasonings on this sound good! I have never, ever heard of Dripped Beef before. We are all about some pot roast at my house so I will have to try this with your seasoning. Unfortunately, we don't have anyone to get any venison from anymore.
As a side note (question), I see on the side of your blog you are a canner. And I see what all you do...your family is LUCKY! Here's my question: I see "pepper butter"...what is that exactly? I have seen at farmer's markets pepper jelly. Is that anything similar? I have never tried either one. What do they taste like? Hot? Okay...I'm done! hehe! :o) Have a wonderful, wonderful day, Mrs. Bonnnie!
