Catch-up

After making my big announcement, then disappearing, I thought I would do a little catching up today.
Tops and Biscuit have had terrific colds for nearly 2 weeks now, and even though they are much better than they were(and less grouchy), they're still sick. Fortunately, Honey and I are not sick. Well, I'm having some morning sickness, not as bad as with the other 2 but its still no fun. On the upside of that, I'm nesting big time, so my house has stayed wonderfully clean, and I've finely started on the basement. Disasterous is an understatement when it comes to describing the mess, and I take full responsibilty. Sewing, crafting and canning stuff piled amongest the bags of the childrens out grown clothes. But I am motivated, and seeing (albeit small and slow) progress.
The weather has finally warmed up, though we had a cold front comethrough last night.
Its been in the uppers 60's, and we've been able to wait out on the porch evry day for Daddy to get home. My daffodils should be blooming soon, and I think I'm going to go pick a bunch that popped up in the abandoned feild next to our house. Why let them go to waste over there, when we could be enjoying them?
No new sewing projects just now, though I do have a sizable list of needs, namely tweener clothes for me, ( not maternity, though I have a baby bump already- I always have one almost immediatly) my clothes are to snug, maternity is to big stage.
Also honey needs some play dresses, and Biscuit will need some summer clothes- shorts and over-alls. I love little boys in shirtless overalls!
I bought most of my seeds for the garden the other day! I debated for awhile about herb seeds, but since I always have terrible luck with them , I think I'll spend the extra and get the started plants from the greenhouse. They may actually have a fighting chance then.
And lastly, just as a reassurance that the Lord does care about everything, even our dinner, the other night I made a 9x13inch pan of hamburger french fry casserole (a double batch to ensure LOTS of leftovers). I picked it up with one hand to put it in the oven, when it tipped off the counter. NOT A SINGLE FRY OR DROP OF THE SOUP MIXTURE MOVED< AND I WAS ABLE TO RECOVER IT WITH NO PROBLEM. That whole pan SHOULD have slipped straight to the floor. There is absolutely no way I got that pan back on the counter with everything still in it with-out divine intervention! Cool, huh?

What a great story about your dinner not spilling!
