Look, wild strawberries with *yellow* blossoms! Have you ever seen such a thing?

Wild *white* blossom strawberries. I am keeping an eagle eye trained on all my wild strawberries. No thieving critters will get them before I do! This is the first year they've ever shown up, and I am beside myself with delight!

Baby robins in their cozy little nest just off the porch. B. found them a week and a half ago, and they still had their eyes closed, but look at them now!
I wanted to get pictures of the iris's out by the pond, and the newly hatched nest of wrens or sparrows (I've yet to get a good look at Mama and Papa), but it rained pretty good all day yesterday, and the baby birds are not in a particularly photogenic stage just now. (read they look like a pile of indiscernible fluff.)
Child feeding, dressing, showering, kitchen cleaning, grocery listing, and bagel making await me. Tootles!

I love robins! How fun to watch baby birds grow up! :)
Yummy, have some bagels for me! Those sound so good right now. :)
I added a bunch of belly pics and updates to Button's blog!
I'd love to see your finished results of the bagels and hopefully a recipe... that is, if they aren't too difficult to make.
New Mom (and Sarah)-
The bagels bombed. Big Time. I'm blaming it on the weather(hot and humid)and that it was a new recipe. I have one I made years ago when I was in 4-H for a bread baking project that was great, but I can't find the book and I just saw it with-in the last month.
Grrr. Bagels are really quite easy, and if I ever find the recipe, I will gladly share.
Please do!
