My girl is growing up much to fast for me. "I can get dressed all by myself!" (which explains her colorful combo above) "I can do a flip because I'm getting to be a big girl." " I'll get my sister dressed and change her diaper when she's born, 'cuz I'm a big girl." And from last week "Mommy! I drew a person!"
And what cute people they are, I had to share. Her sweaty little head fresh from a nap, and sweet little smile are my happy reminders that even though she's getting to be a big girl, she is still only 3 years old. Oh, before she catches that, 3 and a half.
I added 2 recipes over in the Kitchen. I posted them here last year, but now they have pictures to go along and make your mouth water.

Her people are wonderful -- and they even have bellybuttons! Boo has only just begun the circle with eyes in it. His little friend, who is a few weeks younger, is drawing Emporer Penguins (I kid you not -- and they look like penguins!)
Yes, I thought the belly buttons were a nice touch. Later drawings include vitamins in her characters open mouths... she makes me laugh!
Wow emporer penguins. I don't think I can draw an emporer penguin!
