Wanna Good Laugh?

Here ya go.
This is Tuesday, I am only just TODAY noticing the swelling is going down. And yes, it is swollen under my jaw too. But, I can manage a day without Tylenol, I can sleep laying down, I can eat things that require me opening my mouth, and maybe, just maybe, B. won't laugh at me when he gets home tonight, because I look a little less like I chew tobacco. A little.
In other news, I canned 9 pints of salsa Tuesday, 2 pints of pears yesterday (I have about 4 more to do, but my pears aren't quite ripe enough), We got lots of good books from the library today, and we are having an early Thanksgiving here in 2 weeks, before my sister heads back to Africa. I just have to keep reminding myself that its October, NOT November, even though it feels like it today!
I'll hopefully post the wedding pictures tomorrow. Oh and I got baby laundry detergent, so I can get out baby clothes to sort and wash. I love that job, and usually get all teary eyed over them!
Have a good Thursday Folks!

P.S. There are 2 or 3 new recipes in the Kitchen too.

You poor thing! I'm glad you're starting to feel better and that it didn't affect your productivity. Have fun crying over the baby clothes, lol. ;-)

Ouch! That looks like it hurts. Hope your swelling goes quick and the pain fades quickly. Meanwhile, it's a good excuse to eat icecream!

That looks extremely painful. I'll be praying for extra quick recovery.

Baby laundry detergent seems like a good source of distraction from the tooth.

Have a great day!

So sorry about your tooth-though you cracked me up when you mentioned the chewing tobacco. Occasionally my mouth gets the same way as my teeth smoosh together to make room for my wisdom teeth. Yes- I am teething right alongside my children. I feel your pain!

As you know, I have done NO canning this year and it is killing me. Really and truly. This weekend I am going to a pumpkin farm to see if they have any extra apple seconds, to see if I can get some apple butter done in the very least. And I already have the goods to make pumpkin butter. Hallelujah! Those are my most favorite canned goods to eat anyway! :-)

You know, if you find yourself suffering too terribly, you can always send the kids to us!!!
I'm sure that they would love to spend more time with Auntie Cara!
