I know he's a good shot, he keeps the rabbit and woodchuck population around our house in check, but now, I can actually SHOW everyone else what a good shot he is.
(The very top and bottom rows are practice shots, and I taped this to the screen so you can see all his hits.)

He shot a 2400 on the left target, and a 2275 on the right (those numbers are points, 100 for the center, 50 and on out the closer you get to the outside edge of the target.)
I'm supposed to tell you that he had to use his Dad's gun that night, as he sold his the week before to another club member. He got a new gun Friday with the money from his old one, and while I have no idea what it is other than a .22, B. s really excited about it, and thrilled he got it for a bargain.
Just had to brag on him!

VERY impressive. I will have to show Matt these pics. Congrats to B. on the club record.
And look how good I was, not even commenting about how well he shot for an old man. Oh, whoops...don't mention that part to him. ;-)
You are a laugh!
That's incredible shooting -- very precise. A strange question, but do you ever eat the rabbits you shoot? (I don't even really know what a woodchuck is, nevermind if it's edible!)
Morning- no, we don't eat them. We could, but they are usually on the small side. Its more pest control. As for woodchucks (also known as ground hogs), they are eaten in some places, but not around here.
