Lists Will Be Our Downfall

I don't completely agree with that, but Sandra (the author of the Wonderful Book) has an excellent point:
" I used to make lists. Then I either out the list in a pile where it would be safe and lost, or I attached it to the refrigerator where I got so used to seeing it I no longer "saw" it and didn't miss it when it slid down between the refrigerator and counter.
One reason I didn't use these lists is because I didn't really trust that they were good list. I didn't respect them. Maybe they were poor lists. maybe I didn't have every job listed and at the right intervals.
Then too, the lists looked sloppy. They were hand written and irregular, like everything I tend to do is. Who could respect a flimsy, messy,  handwritten piece of paper that purported to tell me how to live? I resented that stupid list forced on me by grimy necessity."

Okay, I have had luck with lists in the past, if I'm having company, but I will admit to freaking out when an item to cook gets written down in the "To Clean" section.  I think I have list and organizing OCD (I started typing that CDO- laugh away kids). I am always sure it could be done better, and that the organizing and list making police will fine me for how I've done it.

I won't be able to post my Flipper, etc. 'til next week. I went for my stash of 3x5 cards, and all I have are colored ones. Guess who started to panic because my Flipper wouldn't be consistent in color everyday? Besides, I didn't have enough, so I need to get more when I do the marketing, then, I'll work on it this weekend.
I have started on my filing system, and it should work, but I'll reveal that with everything else.
Tooda-Loo for now!

Hi Mrs. Bonnie, I commented back to your comment on my blog. BTW, did you see my question about canning?

Hey New Mom- As far as canning-(which BTW, I didn't see your comment-thanks for telling me!) I would have to say my reasons are all of the above (or below I guess now!), I haven't priced it out, so I don't know that its all that much of a savings. It feels good seeing all of it lined up though!
