First off, one of my favorite subjects. This was last week. It is rainy and about 45 degrees right now.Oh my. I just deleted one of my pictures!
Hmm. Sun sparkles aren't so great in black and white.
These two, I took 2 days and countless matches to get. Okay, not so much the lit candle, but right after I blew it out. I would be about a split second to late, and get a steady stream of smoke rising straight up.
But finally, success! It's not quite exactly what I had in mind, but I decided to quit while I was ahead. I still think it's pretty cool. Click below to go to Rebecca's blog for the links to all the participants

I really like the flame picture that you took. I tried, but did not succeed. Your picture though looks really good.
My favorite is the smoking candle...and the water...and the chubby baby..ha ha. Great job...and love the bathroom story!
ooooh! The smoke was fabulous! I have tried to do smoke before and not done very well at it. The only thing I would have done differently for that is to make sure there was nothing else in the picture (move the chair) and crop it in closer.
You did a GREAT job. I love seeing the different interpretations of the challenges and the flames/smoke was absolutely brilliant!
I love the candle lit and snuffed out with the smoke swirling :)

Rebecca- Yeah, I don't know why I didn't move the chair, I think I was so intent on trying to get it (again) that I just forgot. I was also having a bit of trouble for whatever reason (no coffee?) when it came to cropping. I want to try this again with a piece of black poster board as a backdrop,if it turns out, I'll enter it in the fair.
