The rocks never landed where I thought they would, or I would snap the picture right before the splash.
Theres a bit of splash.

Drip-Drop
Photo Friday again! This weeks challenge was water. I was all excited for this, 'till all of my brilliant plans left my head never to return. Phooey. I do vaguely remember considering putting my camera in a zip-lock bag and trying a few underwater shots. Fortunately my sanity returned and I didn't. Besides all my zip-lock bags are blue.
I was rather surprised to look out the kitchen window and see at least 20 geese resting on the pond. I grabbed my camera, threw on some shoes, and slipped out the front door before they read my mind and took off. I even had the sense to turn my camera on, and hit the zoom button before I rounded the corner of the house. It's a good thing I was thinking straight, because I was within about 10 feet from the edge when they finally took of. I was shocked that the ONE picture I got was so clear! I had to post it just because of that.
After the geese were gone, I trekked back down the hill to the garden, grabbed a handful of rocks, came back and started throwing. I discovered I have terrible hand/camera coordination.
Can I just tell you I had to turn the faucet on at least 5 times to get a halfway decent picture...
B. washed the tractor, so I snapped a few while he was drying it.
This challenge was a tough-y for me, you can go here to see the links for everyone else:

These are wonderful!! I love the wild geese on the water
Beautiful! I love the rustic elements of the water faucet.
I really like the water droplets on the red tractor. Those are my favorite. great job!!!
Great job! I love the geese one! Water droplets are so pretty...
Sorry about stealing your 'drip drop' title! LOL! Great minds think alike?! :D
These are all very good! I really wimped out and had to use shots I already had.
Your pictures came out really neat! I especially like the first splash pictures...the one that looks like ripples.
My favorite is the first tractor picture with the light in the droplets. When I went out to take the pond/mailbox photo I went on the natural inlet and looked around to evaluate how to get the shot I wanted when I heard a rustling RIGHT behind me. It was a blue HERON and it started flying away and I was SO STINKIN mad that I had been within feet of the dumb thing and never noticed! UGH! Your first picture reminded me of it~it must be so neat to have your own pond.
I'm wondering if you really could put the camera in a ziploc bag and take pictures..?? Have you ever tried it? Hmmm
