Oh, I'm jealous! I wish we had a place to plant. Garden fresh salsa--- umm,umm, good! I had to chuckle when I saw your bathside reading stack-- that's quite a stack of books on housekeeping! It appears you have books from women on both sides of the spectrum, and that made me curious... which are you, a "messy" or an "organized housewife?"
Also, I think I remember you were implementing a routine utilizing ?index cards? How's that going?
New Mom, I for the 95% of the part am not messy. Things do get bad, and I have 2 "hot-spots" (top of the microwave, and the washer/dryer),but I am mostly just trying to find a good system for room cleaning, rotation, etc. The index cards work FABULOUS!!!! I got out of the habit though, and I'm trying to re-establish it. Seriously, I could have had drop in company at nearly any given moment, and been fine. speaking of which, I need to get off and go tidy up! Once I get my ideas together, I'll try to remember to do a post. Could you do a few large flower pots with salsa ingredients, or is it just to hot and dry?
Hmmm, yes do share if you find a system that works! My greatest fear is that my landlord will drop by unannounced {she loves to do that!}
I tried a potted garden in CO and it was a big fat flop! I had three potted flowers here and they died in two weeks. I forgot to water them one day. The sun is just so shiney here! I may try again but I think I really just have a black thumb.
Welcome to Crabapple Pond! I'm Bonnie; I'm 33, wife of 9 years to B., and momma to Honey-8 yrs., Biscuit-6 yrs., Muffin- 4 yrs., Beans-2 yrs., and Sprout- born late summer 2012.
We live on a small wanna-be "back-yard farm" in the rural Mid-West, and have a few acres with-you guessed it- crabapple trees and a pond.
I am a born again Christian, and I strive to serve Christ through my family.
God is good and life is grand.
