We have decided for kindergarten, to go with a complete curriculum, in order to gage where Honey is at, and then choose from different companies next year, based on her skill levels, or if it worked well, getting another complete curriculum. (she does like workbooks, I like structure and being told what to do)
Christian Light seems to get glowing reviews across the board, (I forgot to get a catalog though)
and all the other curriculum's are a hopeless muddle of reviews.
ANY advice right now would be appreciated...

Hi Bonnie! When you are just starting out, a curriculum set is SUPER HELPFUL! It is nice to have a teachers book and easy to assign lessons. It sounds like you know what kind of learner she is and how you work as well...you are LIGHT YEARS ahead of me in that area when I first began! I always say...at first if you don't succeed try try again! Try this and like you said as you go you will be able to see if there is anything you need to change. We are more ecclectic Charlotte Mason philosophy type approach. It's not for everybody and I didn't start out in it. I slowly changed things until they worked for us...I suspect that I will constantly be changing a bit and adjusting especially as each kid learns a bit different.
For what it's worth, I just about had a nervous breakdown at my first homeschool convention! :P ;) You are not alone, sister! :D
Blessings!
