A Bit of Pre-Fair

The Fair is next week- WOO-HOO!!!!! Not being one for doing things ahead of time (ahem), I've been scrambling around for the last week getting things ready. I just (like, within the last 10 minutes) finished up this dolls outfit, which will go to my niece as a belated birthday gift, when it's done being displayed at the fair.
I added the tucks and it was surprisingly easy
Full length shot, modeled by Honey's beloved " 'Merican Girl Doll" Felicity.  (she's really a Target knock-off) That's a handkerchief tucked in the pocket. I thought it needed one.

Hi Bonnie - I love your doll! Her outfit is sooooo cute! We've recently discovered "The American Girl" movies as my oldest daughter is almost 6. Our fair starts Sept. 3rd and runs through Labor Day. It's the biggest event of the year in our small town! I can't wait :) Good Luck!!

Ooooo... Doll Outfit!!!

You know you've got me hooked with a doll dress. I love this little dress. Details make all the difference, don't they?

Our fair runs late (September); I've been working on a Civil Wall Doll Outfit . . . but I better hurry if I want to get it done in time for entry.

Thanks Ladies! I'll try to post more as I finish things. I am actually taking a nursing break from a dress for Honey right now. I have to have everything finished by tomorrow night: Dress; apron; bib; dollhouse person (people?); and a boatload of baking. Oh, and a bonnet for Babykins, but that isn't being entered, just worn.

Nanci- I hope you post a picture of that dress!
