I have been looking on Craig's list for a double stroller, mostly to take to the fair. Biscuit is still small enough that he gets tired walking a lot, and Muffin weighs enough, that she is a regular load in the front carrier or back-pack. I found the above one, and got it for $45, its Eddie Bauer (not that I care), and looks like it was hardly used. I am really pleased with it.
These are my new shoes. I have pretty much despaired lately finding any shoes that are good for walking, or just having on during the day. I generally go barefoot (even in the winter), which for whatever reason, tends to drive B. nuts. I decided as a last ditch effort to check Lands End. I found these on clearance (for still more than I like to pay for one pair of shoes, but I sucked it up), used a free shipping code, and have been wearing them nearly non-stop ever since. The fact that I LOVE them, definitely justifies the cost.
Last summer, when Rebbecca (from Renaissance) was moving in to their new house, she posted a picture of one of their few construction free rooms, the living room. In the center of their coffee table, she had a big bouquet of sunflowers. Probably because I was pregnant with Muffin at the time, I developed a bad case of sunflower envy, in fact I still go back and look at that picture on her blog, just 'cuz I like it.I nearly jumped up and down when B. came home from his parents the other day with this bouquet from his mom. (Thanks MIL- I love them!) So now I post my own sunflower living room, 'cuz I like it.
And finally. B. told me I had to post this, because he is very proud of it. No, he didn't hit the target in the middle. As you can see, his first shot (bottom towards the left) missed what he was aiming at. But the upper right shot shows that he did indeed hit what he was after: A FLY at 50 yards. I think the evidence speaks for itself.
P.S. I just put a few new recipes in The Kitchen if you're interested.

Those shoes look very comfortable and I totally understand about sunflower envy! :) That's why I plant me a bunch each year now! :)
Nice to see what you're up to ... it's never boring taking a peek into other people's lives! Like the shoes -- they're pretty and sensible. And sunflowers are also one of my favourite things!
Hi Bonnie,
Thanks for leaving me a comment! It's so fun when like-minded gals find each other :) My hubby is a BIG hunter and we live in Montana, so you know what that means LOL. I noticed your list of canning goodies, is that what you have done so far? Can I give you a high-five? This is my first year canning and I'm so excited, just waiting for the garden...
Erica :)
