Photo Friday: Learning

Our challenge this week was learning, and while I did take pictures of the children doing schoolwork and the like, I couldn't come up with anything I really liked.

He usually colors with pencils. It makes him feel important.

The "Schoolroom." It masquerades as a dining room at meal times.

So last evening (right before I lost the last minutes of actual daylight), I came up with this idea, and while it wasn't exactly what I had pictured (I wanted the people blurry, and the writing not), I was still happy with what I took. 'Cuz it's my own twist.

See what everyone else is learning here, and join us next week -we are Growing.

Ooooo...so nice, Bonnie! :) I love the one at the table with the light coming in from the window.I also LOVE your creative words photos...especially yours...the sewing analogy is awesome! :)

Great job! I didn't actually do this...sick kids and I just didn't want to post something 'bleck' and all mine were EXTREMELY 'bleck'! Thanks for sharing!

I like the lighting on the picture of your schoolroom and of course, the picture of your words are great!

I was about to make a comment on the black and white of the children at the table, because it's very striking, and then I saw your children with their signs. Beautiful! Those are definitely keepers!

**giggle** My favorite sign is the "not to eat dog food and lady bugs". The signs are a really fun idea.

I forgot to comment on the word GUNS on the blackboard. I think that is GREAT! :D LOL!! My 3 yr old son was drawing a picture the other day and Daddy asked him what it was and he said "a gun." Then he kept drawing and Daddy asked what else he drew - he said "Mommy." Not sure where he was going with that. :D LOL!!

THanks Ladies!
Paula- My Husband is a sport shooter, so guns are very often the topic of conversation around here!
I was hoping no one would be horrified!

These are so cute:-) Maybe next time I come over I will bring a bag of m & m's. Toodles!
P.s. you know how there is a group of letters you have to type before you can post a comment? Isn't it ironic that right now the last three letters appearing spell g-u-n! ;-)

Of all the challenges and all the photos you have posted, your last four on this challenge are my all time favorite.

They made me feel like laughing and crying, depending on the sign. Great job. I can't tell you how much I loved those WHAT I AM LEARNING photos. SUCH a fabulous idea. (Jealous I didn't think of it myself)

PS. To get the sign in focus and the person blurry you have to hold the sign out as far away from you as possible. That would have been easy with the older two children but far LESS for taking your own picture! ;-)
